These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the website carpetcleaningnorthbay.ca and the carpet cleaning services provided by Carpet Cleaning North Bay ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

1. Services

Carpet Cleaning North Bay provides professional carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, area rug cleaning, pet stain and odor removal, carpet and fabric protection, and commercial carpet cleaning services to residential and commercial customers in North Bay and surrounding areas.

The specific services to be performed, along with the agreed-upon price, will be confirmed before any work begins. We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion.

2. Estimates and Pricing

All estimates are provided free of charge and without obligation. Estimates are based on the information provided by the customer regarding the size of the area, carpet condition, and any specific concerns.

The quoted price is the price you pay. We do not add hidden fees or surcharges after providing an estimate. If, upon arrival, the scope of work differs significantly from what was described, we will discuss any price adjustments with you before proceeding. You are under no obligation to proceed if the revised price is not acceptable.

3. Scheduling and Appointments

Appointments are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. We will make every reasonable effort to arrive within the agreed-upon time window. If we need to reschedule your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances (equipment issues, weather, emergencies), we will notify you as soon as possible and offer the next available time slot.

4. Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans change. We ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to offer the time slot to another customer.

More than 24 hours' notice: No charge. We will reschedule at your convenience.
Less than 24 hours' notice: We may charge a cancellation fee of up to $50 to cover the cost of the reserved time slot.
No-show: If we arrive at the scheduled time and no one is available to provide access, a service call fee of up to $75 may apply.

5. Customer Responsibilities

To ensure the best possible results, we ask that customers:

Provide accurate information about the areas to be cleaned, including any known stains, damage, or concerns
Ensure clear access to the areas being cleaned, including removing small personal items and breakables from the work area
Inform us of any pre-existing carpet damage, discolouration, or manufacturer defects before service begins
Ensure adequate parking access for our truck-mounted equipment, which requires proximity to an outdoor power source or the ability to run hoses to interior spaces
Ensure an adult (18 years or older) is present during the service

6. Satisfaction Guarantee

Every job is backed by our 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the results of our cleaning, notify us within 24 hours and we will return to re-clean the area at no additional charge.

The satisfaction guarantee covers the quality of our cleaning work. It does not cover:

Stains that were identified as potentially permanent before cleaning began
Pre-existing carpet damage, wear, or discolouration
Carpet that has been damaged by previous improper cleaning or chemical treatments
Odors or stains that have penetrated the carpet padding or subfloor and were disclosed as such prior to service

7. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of the service and after you have had an opportunity to inspect the results. We accept cash, cheque, e-transfer, and all major credit cards. We do not require payment upfront.

For commercial accounts with ongoing service agreements, payment terms may be arranged on a net-30 basis upon approval.

8. Limitation of Liability

Carpet Cleaning North Bay takes every precaution to protect your property during the cleaning process. However, certain risks are inherent in carpet cleaning:

Some stains may be permanent and cannot be fully removed regardless of the method used
Older or worn carpets may show signs of wear after cleaning that were previously hidden by soil
Colours in certain fabrics may not be colourfast and could bleed during the cleaning process
Carpet seams that are already failing may separate during cleaning

We will identify and disclose any potential risks before beginning work. Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.

9. Property Damage

If our equipment or personnel cause damage to your property during the course of providing services, we will take responsibility for repairing or replacing the damaged item at our expense. Any claims for property damage must be reported at the time of service or within 24 hours of service completion.

10. Website Use

The content on our website is provided for general informational purposes. While we strive to keep information accurate and up to date, we make no warranties about the completeness, reliability, or accuracy of the information on our site.

You may not use our website for any unlawful purpose, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or reproduce our content without written permission.

11. Intellectual Property
